So if you were doing a video conference from home you would be fine with being in your robe or half naked because you are at home? Usually even in one's own home, once that becomes a work space, basic rules of the workplace apply - including being dressed. If you have employees coming to your house and you are interacting with them in an employer role, then your home is a workplace.

Well said, PP.

This is a fake post. Don't spend precious brain space on answering.

No thank goodness, but it would bother me.

Even though it is the person's home, they still should be respectful that the nanny is there and that she may not be so comfortable seeing someone half-dressed running around.

Yes, many times.
It doesn't bother me.

My DB has answered the door in his underwear on many occasions.

I looked away, and didn't care.

I am nursing on maternity leave and my nanny unfortunately sees my boobs a lot. She is supportive and wonderful and I hope I am not insulting her. I am not shy about nudity and I'm not flaunting my boobs; I just can't feed with my newborn under a blanket and I don't enjoy being sequestered from my other child...

Not a problem, but still I would expect you already said something like, "I hope you don't mind..."

A nanny working for a nursing mother expects to see boobs. I wasn't prepared for an MB who took her whole shirt and bra off and proceeded to carry on a conversation with me, but whatever. What I'm not cool with is dealing with MB/DB being inappropriately dressed/exposed for no reason. Yes it's your home, but its my work place. You can put on some pants when you work from home, DB!

Except you are not doing a video conference from home and the employees are taking care of your children. A good robe does not expose nakedness.

Hardly. The analogy is a poor one.
