I would consider myself a cheap nanny as I could only dream of making 15 per hr. However my boss has never once told me to do something a certain way. Nor do I feel like I do things wrong. Everyday I take care of my charges and my goal is to provide them with fun opportunities for then to learn and grow.

I take my charges on lots of outings to the pool, park, library, museums, zoo, aquarium ect. Never once have I been told I'm doing this not the way I was told. I hardly ever get told anything, I just do my job and keep my charges happy, healthy and entertained.

My bosses have never questioned my judgement ever. I know how to feed children. I asked about allergies.

My point is I don't get lists of request daily from my bosses to do this or that. I don't think I'm doing this WRONG in their eyes.

The post is titled If your CHEAP nanny is so great, why can't you make her do everything the way you told her to do it? I was replying to the post. Saying I don't get told hardly ever to do things. Yes my youngest charge eats different now and the parents never once told me to do sonething different regarding that. I just started feeding him other foods. I'm a career nanny with 15 years of expeience . I am in my 30's I live with them and they trust me. They trust me enough to leave their children with me for up to 4 weeks at a time.

Wait: I'm totally confused. In a different thread you claimed that professional nannies should not be told what to do, they know best, and nanny should quit if you tell her what to do. Ok, but that's a $35 nanny, right? If $15 nanny needs to be told what to do, she is not truly experienced, maybe junior nanny, right? Ok, but now you claim that even $15 nanny knows best what to do, better than MB, and is not following orders. So, she is becoming a professional nanny, albeit at a lower rate. What's wrong with that?
