Does anyone have or know of someone who has a Mormom AP? Can someone provide me a website? I met a women yesterday who is going to hire one. She said they come from Utah and they are hard working and happy.

I have a feeling this post was just put up here to start drama. I really hope no one feeds into your craziness. Not all Mormons live in Utah and we are just like any other people in the world. People please educate yourself on different religions so you don't ask such dumb questions.

OP here. Your feeling is off. Don’t turn this into something it’s not. THESE SPECIFIC MORMONS LIVE IN UTAH - I didn’t say they all did. Thank you for your irrelevant post, this has nothing to do with religion.

I know people who have had Mormon girls do an au pair-type stints here. I think there was an agency of some sorts involved, but really don't know the details. They later used international au pairs.

They won't be au pairs if they are from Utah. Your Childs Nanny is an agency that specializes in placing live-in Mormon nannies.

TOTAL overreaction. OP was asking a genuine question, not stirring up anti-mormon sentiment.

There is an agency as mentioned above that places domestic live-in nannies who are basically the ages of au pairs and work at wages competitve with the au pair system. I would not recommend it, however. We worked with them, and I have thought on and off about suing them ever since. It was that bad.

You can also sometimes find Mormon au pairs--as in from other countries through State-department approved agencies. But they are not so numerous in the actual au pair system.

NP here. If it has nothing to do with religion, why the Mormon specification?

OP here. So much for you hoping that no one creates drama from this question. DRAMA QUEEN. In answer to your question - as I wrote in my first post, because that is what the WOMAN I SPOKE TO YESTERDAY TOLD ME. Holy sh*t, get over yourself.

Because I was asking a legit question and people want to turn it into debate. Its so easy to hid behind a computer and be snarky and im getting frustrated. Thats it, done.

OP if you go back and read what you originally wrote it seems offensive to those of us who are Mormon. By stating a specific religion it looks as if we are being singled out. It makes no sense that the Aupair is from Utah. Aupairs are generally from another country.

NP here too.

Wow OP. I was with you up until here, but now I think you're the one being rude. You specifically qualified these APs as Mormon - so this has everything to do with religion, contrary to your assertion, and surely you can see how your original post ("they come from Utah") sounds like you are generalizing all Mormon APs. You didn't say, the Mormon AP she is hiring, or the Mormon APs from this particular agency/group, you said "they." General, plural. If that's not what you meant, fine, you could have explained yourself. Freaking out on posters is not helping your cause, though.

What is your "legit" question EXACTLY?

You have now said a few times that is has nothing to do with religion, so are you looking for an AP from Utah? Is that the deal? Otherwise why are you asking about Mormon APs specifically? Why not Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, atheist APs? Clearly the religious label matters one way or another to you, and you're the one who's creating drama where there need not be any.
