My nanny vomits alot?

Mb here. I really don't know how to address my situation with my nanny... Between working at home and the nanny cam we have come to realize our nanny vomits pretty frequently. It isn't everyday, not even every week but at least every two weeks she seems to have very rough days where she gets 'ill' as many as 3 times... She never mentioned feeling ill, and knows if she were ill she could certainly go home!

After watching the nanny cam It seems as though the puke just happens in a slipt second
And she makes a mad dash to the bathroom.

We know our children are safe and that she is a GREAT nanny but I am seriously worried about her health and don't know what to do or how to bring it up.

Any advice mb's or nannys?

I vomit when I'm hungover, not saying your nanny is. Is it a possibility she's pregnant? Talk to your nanny and see if there's a medical issue. Just tell her your concerned and would like to help

Someone with bulimia wouldn't have to make a "dash" for the bathroom like the OP explains. She would plan it so that it just seems as she's using the restroom. A hangover is a good explanation I wouldn't have thought of, but is she young?

Most people with bulimia are actually average weight or above. It also wouldn't just come in sudden burst.

GROW UP and ask her! Turning to the internet to discuss a personal issue is passive aggressive and immature. I would be PISSED if my MB spilled this kind of info about me on the net. Anonymous or not.

First and foremost, shame on you for filming your nanny w/out her knowledge. This is just deceptive and immoral and if she finds out, you just may be stuck w/out any childcare help.

She may be preggers, hung over or bulimic. Or she could also have a type of sickness that can be spread to your children.
I would come clean and tell her I am aware of her vomiting. Let her know you are concerned about her health but also would like to know if it is something that she can pass on to your child.

Open communications is vital to a successful Nanny/Parent relationship. You owe it to your kids to confront her.

Maybe she has acid reflux or something like that. Sometimes when I have it come on, I feel it in my throat and it can cause you to start to puke up stomach acid. She might be feeling the reflux for a little while beforehand, but the puking of acid would come out of the blue for someone just watching her actions.
