Monday mornings drive me batty. I make sure things are put away in the right places all week. Then I arrive on Monday morning and can't find anything when I'm trying to get the kids ready for school. I couldn't find their jackets today (among a couple other things). How hard is it to hang jackets on the coat hook right inside the door??

Just a Monday morning whine. Have a good day everyone!

I know the feeling OP! Love my bosses to death but it never fails that I'm met Monday morning with a messy playroom, messy baby, and no baby food prepared despite the fact that I make it all during the week.

Lazy parents. So depressing that they don't care about their parenting job.

There's always a million dishes waiting for me when I get there on Mondays. I don't really mind it but like, how are you not embarrassed that you didn't unload/load your dishwasher all weekend?

I agree with pp. I don't mind tidying up for MB on Mondays but don't complain if I need to skip over other normal tasks because I simply don't have the time to squeeze in extra cleaning.

COMMUNICATION is needed. Talk to them and tell them that in future you will not clean up filthy house/kitchen on Monday mornings. This is NOT a part of youf job so stop doing this.

I completely get it! I came in this morning, the kids had no clean laundry (even though I did 3 loads last week! I am pretty sure they go through 6 outfits a day on the weekends) and they are totally off the schedule... Definitely a little frustrating....

I don't get how my bosses can go a whole weekend ( or more) without wiping down the high chair tray nor do a single dish! Ahhh Mondays haha!

Yep, I have this issue too! I make sure things are tidied up and put in their correct places before I get off work everyday. Come in on Monday and the house is a mess (not dirty or anything, just toys everywhere) and we can't find shoes/backpacks/etc. Frustrating! I actually woke the kids up a bit earlier than usual this morning so they could clean up before going to school.

No dishes for me and DB gave me yet another Starbucks card.

I arrive Mondays to overflowing trash & recycling, piles of laundry, no one has swept the entire weekend, toys and mess scattered and bottled fill of sour milk in the sink. It's disgusting!!! One of the kids is 6, so I make her clean the kids mess and sweep, right in front of her parents. I'm not their skivvy!! She even has to help fold the laundry. I'm looking after infant twins, I don't have time to clean weekend mess so they can feel bad instead their kid is swiffering instead of playing.

Mondays are the worst! I have a total case of them today. I hate that nothing is where it belongs and it can't be found when trying to rush to school. I can't stand all the mess that has piled up.
