Merry Christmas and Happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year to you and your family. |
Thank you! Merry Christmas and. Happy Healthy New Year to you and yours! |
Maybe ask the employers? Say maybe something along the line of... not to assume anything, but I usually get a holiday bonus by now, I need to do some holiday shopping/financial planning and was wondering if I will be getting one? |
Did the kids start school this year? I used to receive $1000 every year and then once the kids started school I started getting $200. Kind of sucks but whatever. I was still full time. |
I wouldn’t feel comfortable asking…I do understand that a bonus is up to them. I just wish they had a conversation with me about it…it’s hard for an employee to receive one every year and then nothing..especially when I’m constantly told that I am greatly appreciated for all I do for the kids and family. |
No, the school schedule is the same for the older 3 but there is a new baby. I have no idea what is going on. Maybe it’s just time to move on. |
It's past time to move on. They added another child for you to care for and nothing. It's outrageous that they only gave you a $200 bonus once kids were in school. |
Maybe they can't afford it this year. Times are hard for a lot of people. It is best to be understanding, but grateful during this time. |
Wonder if parents would be understanding snd grateful if their employers treated them the same way |
If they can’t afford it then a conversation should have happened. Understanding about what? I’ve been with them several years and they don’t have the decency to have a talk with me? Is that a kind way to handle this? I should be grateful that they think it’s okay to treat me disrespectfully? I said from the beginning I know a bonus is optional. Giving one every year and then to not even address that they are unable to do it, is rotten. |

Do move on , Nanny. You are not appreciated or respected. 2 weeks notice. |
If they can't afford a nanny bonus, they certainly can't afford a new baby! Are they going to the county food bank at this point? |
