What’s the absolute best Christmas/holiday gift you’ve ever received from your employers?

My point is that with those, my employers also show they respect and value what I do all year. Multiple bonuses throughout the year, 3 weeks of vacation to take when I want it (contract says 2), invitations to join them whenever I want for vacation and/or outings, food with no limits anytime they order, unlimited healthy food in the house (including salmon and out-of-season produce), etc. I don’t want someone to order shoes for me, and the only other thing I’d want is a new Apple Watch, since mine is getting old. I do appreciate being valued all year, and I am happy to buy myself what I need.

Yes, dear, we know. We’re all trying to tell you that you can get respect AND a great holiday gift!!! The two are not mutually exclusive. I am respected, appreciated, and well-paid AND love the gifts I get on holidays and birthdays.

First, you have no idea if that’s true. Second, there is nothing wrong with getting ideas. I wrote a post about what to get my husband for our 30th anniversary last year. Third, this is a post about your best gift ever - not what to get your nanny.

The families I been working never give me
Anything even if I working more than they expected
Or I was doing a great job,after some time I
