Should I rematch? RSS feed

They can not push back when you are very clear it is a SAFETY issue. You need to be clear that you no longer want the au pair in your home because she is endangering their physical well-being (car accidents) and being emotionally abusive (panic attacks). The au pair is unable to SAFELY take care of your children and you need her removed asap. I do not think this is an overreach in this situation, your children are actually in danger.

Agree. What agency is this??? (My guess is CCAP, but I could be wrong) You will need to absolutely put your foot down and take it higher up with totem pole. If the LCC is not helpful, it's time to go above their head.

We are with Au Pair Care. After much effort, it looks like we are probably going to be allowed to do the rematch on Monday. I’m just really disappointed at how the agency handled this. During my last call with the LCC/AD, she was basically arguing with me and telling me that I didn’t give AP a chance. I just feel that they need to stop pressuring people to keep the match at all costs and actually start listening to what is going on! Anyway, hopefully it will all work out, but I feel that the agency has definitely made this as painful as possible.

Au Pair Care. Noted.

If a HF has made it clear an AP is no longer welcome in the house, it's crazy to me that they would push back. They wouldn't push an AP to stay in a house where the treatment is so harsh they are having panic attacks. Why would they demand a HF do that?
