She is being paid buy the nanny share family who stole her and kicked the family out. They can pay.

When you asked the nanny to continue to work for the 30 days, did you say words similar to this "if we cannot find someone else"? Or did you just commit to her working for 30 days?

If you did say "if", you do not owe her anything.

If you did not, then you probably do owe some money. However, if she is getting paid full time from the other couple, technically you owe them your share of the nanny share - as long as they are paying the same as her previous rate.

And be happy you have moved on! She sounds horrible.
