| Can you work part time for the new/potential family whils retaining your current position? How many hours does the new family want in the beginning? What benefits are they offering upfront? |
|
Thanks for all replies. They are going to give only one week of vacation and federal holidays.
They wants me to work only 16 hours in start. |
| You would be foolish to risk your current 32 hour job for a job with half those hours. Wait until you find one that is full-time with health insurance. |
I saw a lot of "might's" too. I would stay at a for sure job. |

I think you should stay at your current job. The new job offers even fewer hours and no more benefits than you already have. Continue looking for a full-time position with the package that you want, and then quit your current job.
Or maybe you could do the 16hr job in addition to your main job? If there's a conflict of hours, you could ask your current employers if they could cut your hours a bit so you could get another job? |

Thanks for all replies.
Yes, I think it’s best idea to accept the position and see how it goes. Yes there is hours conflict but I can talk to my current employer to solve the issue. Thanks for all replies |
