1. you have your family watch kid overnight on Monday. So, the job you are asking is maybe extended hours Monday / Tuesday, but no overnights.

2. How old is kid? I think I missed that. If DD is young, could you find a part time program in DC - kid goes to daycare here in DC M / T - flies up with you - you take to daycare and pick up in the PM (like you do now). She flies home with you on Tuesday. Goes to daycare in NC the rest of the week. You get to spend time with your kid and I cant imagine that is much more expensive than paying a nanny time and a half for overtime for 16 hours a day on Mon / Tues or paying 100 for overnight or something like that.

Before people claim that kids can't handle two different care givers / daycares - I don't think that is true if it is the same every week.
