If you are still paying her as if she worked 8:00-6:30 every day, you definitely need not give her a raise. She can and may get a second job MWF from 8:00-2:00.

If you were only paying her for the new reduced hours schedule, then you might want to give her a raise to keep her for the hassle of having to get a second job for part of the time.

PP here. But I do agree that if she is on-call for the hours she is not working, then you pay her something to be on-call.
