OP ignore PP that said you left out relevant info. You didn't. You're right. What you're doing over the weelend, even if it is pet sitting for them, doesn't give yourB the right to lend you out like a damn house slave. I would put my foot down just because of how disrespectful it is to my autonomy as a human being. I'm your employee, not your property, and I decide what work I do for whom and for what price.

+1. plus the neighbor should have talked to OP and asked her if what he was planning to pay her was ok for OP. leaving a tip on the table to somebody who never agreed to do the job certainly does not make the situation right.

I tried, my boss just laughed at me and walked away. My whole weekend was taken up by these pets. I had no clue how involved it was until I showed up and read the instructions. I had to walk the dog 4 times each day.
