Nanny agency is a SCAM

They didn't have any info to complete the checks. No Ss number no drivers license number.

One hired me that day for a night job never even met me.

OP here.. exactly... how do you send someone to a family home to work with their children and have never seen them before.. and when you check my references, my old boss sends me a text. Plus they didn't have my ID or SSN. Parents be careful and make sure your agency is doing their job...

We're not trying to bag on these companies, but this info is terrifying for parents. Please tell us the names so we can avoid. The board is anonymous and this revelation is troubling.

As a mother I know Georgetown Nanny Inc is a scam. They took our money and didn't do the job. Our nanny told us she didn't even meet the owner and they didn't do a background check on her.

Most agencies don't meet with the candidates. I've worked with two high profile agencies in NY and never met them. Everything was over the phone regarding interviews, etc.
