Use the footage? They are going to view it occasionally from their iPads once a week while a work. Why make this a bigger thing than it is? What do you think they are going to do with the footage, submit you to americas funnies home videos?

I know a jerk husband who might think it'd be hilarious to put it on YouTube. You know, the nanny acting like a damn fool with his kid. Especially if she didn't even know you're spying on her all day.

Nanny here but same thing. I started working for a family a few years back and initially thought I saw some red flags in terms of possible abuse so I set up a camera as well. Once I realized they weren't mistreating their kids I stopped watching except for when I just wanted to see my charges for a cheer-up. Has nothing to do with mistrust now.

Umm so we are to believe that you placed a hidden camera in SOMEONE else's home without consent? I don't believe this and if you did you should have charges brought against you. As childcare providers we are reporters of abuse. It's not for you to decide just because you want to decide if you like the job. You contact dfacs and let them do the investigating. I'd sue the pants off of you
