MB giving me trouble about taking time off to get married RSS feed

OP, the baby is less than a month old so MB's brain is likely not firing on all cylinders at the moment. I would sit down and talk to her again and say that you know the baby will still be small but that you're getting married and the venue you love is available that day so thats when you will be getting married.

Honestly, if she fires you she's a pretty shitty person. More likely she'll realize that she was being silly before and give you the time off.

Now I also work in a place that we have to put in our requests 3 months in advance and are often times told no. However, even at my job, I would be told yes if I told them I was getting married and needed the time off.

Op should only do this if she okay being fired

OP has paid vacation and I assume that five days of that paid vacation is at her choice. She has chosen these five days. Her MB will have to live with that choice.

In the real world vacation time is either approved or denied. If op is denied she needs to be okay with loosing her job. Not all nannies get to just up and choose 5 days. Just like the rest of the world we put in 3-6 months in advance and 50% if the time it's denied.

I'm guessing you really are as stupid as you sound. Evidently you cannot comprehend what you read as she asked for time in NOVEMBER.

Look up LOSE and LOOSE. Loosing her job?

She shouldn't have had two kids if she is incapable of ever caring for them by herself.

I would Fire her just for asking. I would never hire a nanny who was married. No relationships in my contract

Stop making excuses for a very rude, mean spirited, selfish Mb.
