+3! What is going on!? |
Um, no. There was a post awhile back (more than two weeks) about a nanny left waiting on the doorstep in the rain (for some strange reason, MB was on the phone, something like that) and when MB did arrive at the door, did not apologize or offer a towel (not a shower, buttheads). Almost verbatim. OP is either trolling or theres some crazy lady out there who like to set up interviews with nannies on rainy days and then make them wait outside for 10-15 mins. Consider they way it is around here, both scenarios are equally likely. |
LOL!!! |

More then one nanny seems to be texting, ignoring her charges, showing up late to work, ignoring directives, etc. So, it is possible more then one MB would be lacking in consideration and thoughtfulness.
However, the post you are referring to was about horror stories. The nanny was not left in the rain, she was left waiting outside while the MB finished a phone call. She did not have the interview because she left after ten minutes of waiting. |
Good points. |
OK so what's your point? There's not one but two trolls on this thread? |
Wasn't there a thread on the main forum explaining what a troll is? Please look it up. |
This was MB bait. Someone is having fun at MBs expense today. |
Websters 3rd Ed. NOUN, "a person who makes up a story simply for the purpose of inciting acrimonious discussion". See OP above. TIA. |
Someone who responds, "Good points" in agreement, is NOT a troll, FYI. |
How old are you? 12? 15th? Can't be older than 23. |
Sweet. Thank you. |

This post is legit. I was walking in downtown Silver Spring when the storm broke out. The street alarms that only go off during public emergency were triggered. It was really crazy for a while, high winds and raging thunderstorm.
As for the shower thing, that does seem like a troll who is getting the better of the posters who keep feeding into that ridiculous post with anger and outrage. Maybe try starving the beast? |
| I believe OP is real and not a troll. Just a feeling. |

I had a potential MB from care.com flake on the scheduled interview and never call me. Then, about two weeks later, without ever having met me or run a background check on me or even seen my references, she called and asked if I could pick up her son at school and the teacher would tell me which one he was. She asked me to take him to her house (which I had never been to) and find the key under the mat and make him something to eat and give him a bath. Of course I said NO.
This MB is so out-there that if it didn't happen to me and I just read about it, I would think the poster was a troll. |
