If you are unable to pay your bills from this job that its just as bad as working for a family with whom you don't click with.... In a few months time you will be job hunting again so you can make rent.

Great that you can communicate with the mom and seem like you are on the same page! However, you still don't accept the job without meeting the kids and nailing down s contract that sets out your pay, yes? To accept a job without a contract and meeting kids would be am idiot move
