Nanny references..bad sign?

| Op here. It was her last employer reference that was disconnected. I was able to email the employer and get her number. She changed phone carriers and the candidate wasn't aware of it. All her former employers and details check out so I do not believe any of it was fake. Many people change numbers for various reasons. |

| The nanny with raving reviews on paper and phone is the one who threw my DD (18 mos) in the back of her car and drove off all day (no car seat) to god knows where and lied about it, and I would find bruises all over DD. She lasted 2 weeks before I figured out what she was doing (there was no trash for the whole day). Just beware. Check the trash, and tell your neighbors to watch for suspicious activity and let her know they are watching. After I fired psycho nanny, my neighbor told me she saw her driving off every day no car seat and she was scared. |
