It's been a real eye opener for me, getting to know what nannies are really thinking. Some of them have insanely entitled attitudes, resent their employers and jobs and don't really seem to like kids all that much.
It doesn't scare me, it just makes me more aware. There are some fantastic nannies out there, I'm just more weary of the bad ones and know what to look out for. Nanny cams are very important -- you'll want to know how she's interacting with the baby when she thinks you're not around. Pay attention to facial expressions and body language. As an example, she may agree to a duty in the interview to land the job, but later resent you for it.
