If she truly expected you to pay for your own ticket, then shame on her.
Talk to her and tell her since seeing this movie was a job requirement, you were obligated to see this movie, then she is supposed to pay your way as well.

Why should you incur add'l expenses for her idea?

If she doesn't see your point or pays you but gives you attitude, I would seriously consider leaving this crazy lady for good.

It's not about the eleven dollars anymore. It boils down to principle now.

She already corrected her mistake and paid OP. Try reading before you comment

op didn't say mb paid her back for her ticket, just that the reimbursement had been done in cash. That is not the same thing as figuring out her mistake and correcting it.

Op here. To clarify: the reimbursement was for kids' tix only. This mistake has not been corrected yet. I've decided it would be a little too random to bring it up now, so next time she asks me to take them I'll discuss it with her.

OP - agree your approach at this time is right. AT the moment, the right thing would have been to say right then or the next day - "hey, just wanted to let you know i noticed the cash you gave me was $11 short since it didn't include my ticket to accompany them - can you add that to my check this week?" Of course she should cover you.

unless your MB is otherwise really difficult to work for, I think it is MOST likely that she just heard you wrong and the last value you said stuck in her head. Under no circumstances is it reasonable for her to ask you to take them but not pay for your ticket. Reasonable for her not to pay for snacks for you maybe since those are optional, but that isn't the case here.

You were wrong again and again. It'd be nice for you step back once in a while, and get a hold of your anger issues.
