Ugh you people are annoying.. Noone with legit questions are going to ask for help on here because of all these troll accusers. Who cares if it's a troll or not. I just answer as if it is a legit question instead of accusing because you never no.
OP, did you ask your employers if you could instead take your charge somewhere else. Maybe the library or and inside playground at MC Donalds or something? If she was having guests over then I could MAYBE understand why she may have wanted a energetic, noisy child around but 4 hours at the park can get tiresome even for nannies without allergies. |

I'm so Tired of the negative comments on this forum they're really not any help at all. How about if you don't have anything positive or helpful to say don't comment of my fucking posts. If you dont like the way I type sorry. I'm sorry for not being the best typer in the world but when I have something on my mind I try to type it out as fast as I can before I lose my train if thought. Her parents wanted me to watch her from 6-11pm and keep her at the park for at least three hours, while they had guests. Me and the child both have allergies so I expressed that I didn't think it was a good idea. This was not on my regular day (Saturday) it was an additional day which was a Friday.. |

| I can't really tell if this is real or not but, assuming for some insane reason it is, OP why did you agree to keep a child out of the house until 11pm? Whether you were at the park or not, this just reeks of bad judgement all around. Were you a competent childcare provider, you would never have agreed to this. Shame on the parents and on you, issues of allergy meds aside. |

I, too, hate when people claim 'troll' all the time, but sometimes, that's their way of saying 'wtf'- sort of calling out the OP for not making any sense (even if it's a real post). So maybe you could take the extra 30 seconds to read over your post before hitting submit. |

If this is a real post, OP, it's misleading to say in your thread title that you were fired over the allergy medicine alone. In your OP, you mention they shared all these other reasons that you felt should have been brought up earlier. Those are the reasons you were fired. They don't trust you anymore and don't want to use you.
Honestly, as you search for a new job, work on your judgment. As a PP pointed out, it is irresponsible to agree to keep a child out anywhere, park included, until 10pm or later, allergies or no allergies. |

You'll get better responses if you go back and revise your original posts - type everything out the way you want to, then reread and edit for cohesiveness and continuity (not to mention punctuation). You'll also get better responses if you post a clear story and distinct question - your original post didn't leave us any direction to go in for commenting. Not whether you wanted to know what to say to the mother, if she was right or wrong, what you should have said instead, if allergy medicine is a legitimate cause... just a chaotic backstory and then a very general question. So with that explained... you still haven't said anything you want our input on, only that you are coming to terms with saying goodbye to your charge. That is really hard and we all feel for you, but I don't know what we can say in this thread that would be helpful. |
