3 weeks' bonus - by more than one family - sounds highly unlikely but ok. PP at 6:33 you sound like a peach.

I never expected anything but a small gift and thank you card. I feel I need to do something special for them. |

Let me start saying I am totally blown away with my bonus. I actually thought many nannies around here lied about bonuses and for the first time being a nanny, I now believe some employers are just plain awesome and of course, can afford a nice bonus.

I just went to take the kids their presents. The mom told me one of my gifts hasn't been delivered yet so she has 2 gifts for me after the new year. No bonus. I would rather have money than a gift, I need the money, and I think she really knows that. So that's unfortunate. I am off all next week with pay, though that isn't my fault. They chose not to use me. I've been counting on the extra hours too since the kids will be on break.
So yeah, I don't want to sound ungrateful, but it is what it is. |

2012 Holiday Bonus: 100 Weekly (net) Pay: 1000 Other Holiday Gifts: family Christmas card Length of time: 2.5 mos My last nanny family gave me 1000 bonus at Christmas so I was kinda bummed with the 100, but they didnt have to give me anything above my pay so I'm grateful for what I did get. Plus I really love their baby
