This story is bananas.

Mom will have yet another stroke and end up in a wheelchair, even though she has the best legs for a woman her age. No one can believe she's 80! She looks 39. The evil brothers will send Mom to live in a homeless shelter to save money and so they can have control over the 7/11 and strip mall "family business". OP will convince Mom, even with all her challenges, to enter "Dancing With the Stars" and Mom will win! OP is super heroic for making this happen.
At the competency hearing, the judge will decree the evil brothers are in fact, evil. They will be forced to move out of Mom's abandoned split-level. They can no longer have access to her accounts. The judge will recognize OP's smartness along with her prettiness - just like Mom.
Mom will get to move to an upgraded AL with not only a river view, but an OCEAN view. And it will be a place where all the elderly disabled people have the DECENCY to dress nice, show some pride in themselves and serves as backup singers to Mom's showstopping rendition of "Gypsy".
This is gold! Gold!

This is BEYOND gold. May be one of the best things I’ve read on DCUM. Maybe even better than Linoleum!

Didn't you have a thread about wanting to move your mom because she was depressed at the AL. Now your brother is the bad guy for wanting to move her and the counselor squashed that.Pretty sure it's you because you have a dramatic way of writing where people are 1-dementional good guys and bad guys.
Yes, OP has posted a lot. I suspect there are multiple sides to this story.
The stories are becoming so strangely enthralling. The counselor immediately sides with OP and saved the day and on this thread everyone is on OPs side. On another thread OP had some people cheering her on about evil brothers who wanted mom in a room without a view, but when people turned on her and questioned things....we got even more posts. OP wants to save mom from a terrible AL which is beautiful and which OP found and where people love her mom, but her mom is too beautiful and rich and fancy for these losers who don't take care of themselves and now her mom doesn't even want to do her hair. Oh and mom needs vibrant young people, not these old people, even though her mom had many falls and uses a walker. OP is determined to swoop in a save the day and be a superhero while the villainous bros just want to suck out her money. It's becoming like a bad movie and I need to step away and stop reading, but the threads just keep appearing.
I’m assuming you’ve never had to deal with elderly parents yet? This can be a very common occurrence with lots of drama. It’s seldom an easy smooth transition, especially when money and siblings are involved. I hope you never have to go thru this in your life.

Living the drama is different than obviously thriving on it and having to post constantly. I suspect much of this drama is OP’s making.
