wondering about taking them for a short trip on a deal for GWL. Sounds like our 5 yr old has enough to do - what about the 3 yr old? There looks to be so many activities but not sure if appropriate for 3 yr old besides the water toddler area? How many days might be a good idea for first trip for us - just an overnight stay or does it make sense to stay longer? Any suggestion on the type of room best suited for us?
They are the perfect age to go and there is plenty to do and various options. Just get a regular room as you really don't need a theme room and its not worth the extra cost. We recent went for 2 nights and it was perfect. Able to do early check in and also able to check out on last day and still use the facilities for the rest of the day. Take breakfast items and just eat in your room as well take lunch/snack items and bring them to the waterpark area. Weekdays are not as busy as Sat/Sun. Try to get down to the water area early to get chairs or a decent table space. We spent most of the day at the water and then wrapped for dinner somewhere, then did the story-time. Played board games in our room and pretty much went to bed when the kids did.
The place has other things like an arcade, bowling alley, story-time with animal characters and it is really well run and tops for safety.
