I'm sure he'll find a way to get his donors to pay for it. |
What was he doing in El Salvador, anyhow? Organizing migrant caravans to create a humanitarian crisis on our border? Somehow I wouldn't doubt it. |
It would be entirely on brand. What a flipping hypocrite. Covid’s “just like the flu,” so tough it out wherever. |
Marcus Lamb, founder of the Christian network Daystar which daily runs anti-vaccination propaganda and conspiracy theories, has died of Covid.
He and his wife have been touting and taking the usual lineup of HCQ, the I drug, zinc, various vitamins to prevent Covid. Guess it doesn't work? But....

Thoughts and prayers. |
So he died of pneumonia. He had covid but what did him in was pneumonia. And for those who don’t know pneumonia can quickly cause someone to deteriorate health wise especially if there is any underlying condition. It also can cause a person health issues for years to come. |
I’m not sure what your point is. The pneumonia was caused by the coronavirus. It wasn’t a completely separate health issue. Before it was renamed COVID-19, the original name for the illness caused by the novel coronavirus was novel coronavirus-infected pneumonia (NCIP). |
Well, if he had not had Covid, he would not have had pneumonia. But, whatever. Just keep on telling yourself no one is "really" dying of Covid and see how that works out for you. |
My uncle died of bleeding out. The bleeding out wouldn't have happened except for the car accident he had. ![]() |
PP, you can't separate the COVID from the pneumonia. Pneumonia literally means "inflammation of the lungs."
What is inflaming them? In this case, COVID-19. In other cases, it might be Streptococcus pneumoniae or Haemophilus influenzae. But you don't say of the most common cases of death from pneumonia that "oh well, the Streptococcus bacteria is really irrelevant -- it's the pneumonia that did him in." That's just a really peculiar and untenable perspective. |
Ask Florida why their COVID rates are so low? Because they classify the deaths as pneumonia. |
They're not even that low anymore. #9 in deaths per 100k people and #14 in cases. In June, De Santis might've been able to argue a conservative case (a la Sweden, which was a favorite of conservatives for several months until they went all normie on us in winter 2020-1) for fighting COVID, but not now, not post-Delta. |
