Aging Runner - Achilles tendonitis

I run a few times a week for years and nothing has changed, except I am getting older. I think I am developing achilles tendonitis just from years of over strain. Anyone else been dealing with this and have any advice?

Also has plenty of personal comments of experiences and advice. I also tape my ankle regularly now. Seems to help a lot. Check out YouTube for different ways to tape.

Try stretching before and after the run

Cold therapy after. Icing will bring the swelling down or prevent any from building up. I agree with taping as well. KT or KB tape is great. Take a few minutes and go to youtube and search different ways to tape. It will help a lot.
