Another thing I have found is that the better you are dressed the better off you are. Ideally, for going out in the street to shop you would dress as if you were going to a formal tea American women often make the mistake of thinking that if they dress down they are less likely to draw negative attention, but the opposite is true.

9:33 here. I agree.

Best thing to do is travel with a male companion and a driver. Covering helps. In many poor areas your non-dark complexion will be seen as an invitation.

Why does Ann Curry wear these types of clothes to interview Iran president?

Does the Iranian president where a suit and tie when in the west?

why the double standard?

Maybe because in Iran they have a rigid women's dress code and here in the US they do not have a mens dress code? So if she wishes to be there to conduct this interviews, she needs to follow the rules of the country she's in?

What's it like being Muslim? Well, it's hard to find a decent halal pizza place and occasionally there is a hashtag calling for your genocide...

OP, I support you - as long as you agree being stoned to death is never a justifiable punishment, and particularly not for so wing such as adultery. Do you agree with that?

It's not PC to say it in our liberal-uber-educated, to-each-his-own-as-long-as-you-don't-hurt-anyone, just-separate-church-and-state, society... but the fact is, the bulk of Islam is a death cult. The Quran is FILLED with hateful, war-mongering threads (so is the bible, but Christians tend to ignore those bits since the reformation.) we speak of religious freedom, but the fact is, there are DIFFERENCES between religions. Some teach hate, and punishment, and wrath, and others aren't quite as hard. All of them can be dangerous in the wrong hands.

OP, of you want to do Islam a favor, do it from within. Denounce Jihad, and denounce the hateful, ignorant actions that are being done in your religions name.

nothing has changed with Islamic terrorists, more beheadings in Mohammed's name.

"Our values are at stake," French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said on Wednesday after hearing about the video. He would not comment further, but minutes earlier he insisted that France would continue fighting in Iraq as long as necessary.

Salaam Muslima. Things have changed, at least a bit. Islamophobe has pulled back a bit from posting inflammatory, racist like statements. She realized that she didn't have a following. But as you can see, not entirely. lol

Muslima hasn't said anything inappropriate so calm down. I'm the OP and I'm fine with her post.

It just amazes me how much someone gets criticized simply when they are brave enough to provide a username like "Muslima."

If you're also 00:22, then you're the one who needs to stop. You've beaten this victimhood-Islamophobe thing to death. As you well know, there were several people, not just one, asking you questions respectfully on those other threads. You insulted people more times than anybody insulted you or Islam. You didn't like it when people found your answers opaque and incomplete, or when people agreed with you on the facts but simply failed to agree with you on the perfection of your system - so you started calling everybody Islamophobes. Babyish.

Time.for.you.to.stop! Bunch of children.
