My God, they’re tunneling into the bedroom? Hide the jewelry ! Do you have any evidence that Hamas tunnelers have targeted Israeli kindergartens?

A Tunnel exit was found under a kindergarten. Explain the benign reason for this

I am against the terrorist state of Israel and against the blind support of the American government to the state of Israel and the fact that we contribute $3billion/year to the slaughter and dehumanization of a people. Now if that makes me Un-American and Anti-semetic in your world, so be it. That won't keep me up at night~

Keep on talking. You are proving the 'crazy' that is Palestinian indoctrination.

If you don't like the US position on Israel, you are welcome to go to a Muslim country that will treat you well. Or any other. Your choice

I guess I will have to take a bunch of other Americans with me, ugh?? But we are not going anywhere, we are staying, deal with it~~

You have the right to your opinion, but understand it is just that. The fact that you are going on and on and on, on tons of threads, has me thinking you hate this country. The right thing to do then, is leave.

Uh, when an American feels their government is doing something wrong, the right thing to do is to persuade our leaders to change the policy.

What was a bedouin tracker doing in the kindergarden? BTW, can you provide any documentation of this story? Not that I don't have absolute trust in the word of random anonymous posters, but I'd like to see a bit more support.

Look it up. There are numerous reports. But then, there are only six tunnels, right Jeff?

"Earlier this month Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri appeared on Al-Aqsa TV and encouraged Gaza residents to act as human shields. They appear to have heeded the call: Israeli Defense Forces combat video has shown Palestinians rushing to rooftops after receiving warnings from Israel—via phone calls, text messages, and unarmed "knock-knock" small projectiles striking a targeted building—that a missile attack is imminent."

I guess this was Hamas using a Palestinian child as a human shield?????

I guess when one of your anointed ones call for this behavior, and people obey, they just might get caught. I watched the video (VIDEO) of the Hamas leader calling for human shields. Can't deny that one.

What was that tunnel doing that close to an Israeli kindergarten? What benign purpose did it serve?

This person has not proven to be a citizen. I asked and was told it was none of my business.

Also from the WSJ: "This cynical inducement of civilian suffering for propaganda is in marked contrast to the IDF's treatment of noncombatants. While Hamas is encouraging the sacrifice of its civilian population—and its cowardly leadership is ensconced in underground bomb shelters—the IDF reports that in the conflict's first week it provided more than 4,400 tons of food to Palestinians in Gaza, about 900 tons of natural gas and about 3.2 million liters of diesel fuel. All this despite 1,700 Hamas rockets fired at Israel.

Meanwhile, the Rutenberg power plant outside Ashdod in Israel supplies Gaza with electricity, though the Palestinian Authority's payments are badly in arrears. This supply only stopped when a Hamas rocket destroyed the power lines to Gaza on July 13, plunging 70,000 Palestinian households into darkness. Despite the rocket fire, Israel repaired the transmission lines, restoring electricity to Gaza."

I'm just going to assume that you have no source or that your source is a joke. Also, I know this is a complicated situation and beyond your obviously limited capabilities, but not all tunnels were discovered on the very first day. Several days into the conflict, I was aware of three tunnels crossing the border. Time passed and more tunnels were apparently discovered. Someone who -- unlike you -- was able to provide a source, showed me that my data was old. I now understand that approximately 11 tunnels run into Israel. I don't now of any that were discovered by a bedouin in a kindergarden. I don't expect that you will be able to provide a believable source.

Enjoy your insults, Jeff. Your firm stance that Israel is the aggressor and Hamas is benevolent is well-known. I guess the WSJ lies too? Can't deny video, yet you continue to defend the position that Hamas does not deliberately ask civilians to put themselves in harm's way.

I googled, so too can you. If you choose not to, or deny the accuracy of the sources, remain a fool in darkness.

"Ths WSJ op-ed by 4-star Gen. James T. Conway (USMC ret.), who retired in 2010 as 34th Commandant of the Marine Corps., describes a 3-mile long tunnel built with concrete & iron imported into Gaza--including one tunnel that ended less than one kilometer (5/8-mile) from an Israeli kindergarten:

I recently had the opportunity to see for myself the moral chasm between how the Israeli Defense Forces and Hamas treat civilians during military operations. In May I joined a dozen other retired U.S. generals and admirals on a trip to Israel with the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs.

Just outside Hamas-ruled Gaza, we toured a tunnel discovered less than one kilometer from an Israeli kindergarten. Unlike tunnels that I had seen during the Iraq war that were designed for smuggling, this Hamas tunnel was designed for launching murder and kidnapping raids. The 3-mile-long tunnel was reinforced with concrete, lined with telephone wires, and included cabins unnecessary for infiltration operations but useful for holding hostages."

I've never said Hamas is benevolent. It's always interesting to find that posters need to misrepresent my views in order to oppose me. One would think my actual views could be opposed very easily. I know I'd have no problem doing so. Similarly, I think it's telling when someone makes a false-sounding claim and then tells you to find the source yourself when you ask for support. It's almost like you are afraid to reveal your source, or perhaps don't have one in the first place.

No one on any of these threads has ever suggested that Hamas is benevolent. Grow up, or at least come up with some better arguments.

Oh, so your "under a kindergarten" is actually nearly a kilometer away from a kindergarten. No wonder you didn't want to reveal your source. Do you care to tell us what else was within a kilometer of the tunnel?

There are always varying reports. This one I believe is most accurate. But I'm sure, to you, this is of no never mind and the general lies. Typical Jeff response of 'nothing to see here'. 5/8 mile is pretty damn close, my friend. And you know it.
