More than half - there are more than two kids applying for each available spot.

How do we know this?

How does that compare with last year?

I bet it's going to be a large percentage of matches. The fact that so many choices exist and you can only get matched to one... yeah, probably 75% of all students matched with 25% all waitlisted.

You may not like what you see . . .

Sounds like a line from a horror movie!

I've tried to sign on tonight and it is timing out! Maybe we are overloading the system and just all need to be patient.

PP-- something is definitely afoot on the site-- looks like they will be migrating throughout the weekend to the "enroll" process. There are more detailed explanations of how to enroll, how to round 2, etc.

Do you need to get all the medical/dental exams and forms filled out before May 1st (or whenever the enrollment deadline is)? Or is that something you can do after accepting a spot. If it is the former, I am a little panicked because I haven't even thought about making appointments yet.

You're right. I've had the site open in my browser for weeks and I just noticed that the page title on the tab changed from "My Schools" to "Government of the District of Columbia" at some point in the last couple of hours

Does this mean that the results *are* up on the site, but so many people are trying to get on that we can't see it? (Like what happened at YY when its lottery opened?)

Yeah, I can't get the site to open now. Had been on it all day.

Toward the bottom of the home page it says "The lottery is done. What happens next?"
