Yes it is honey. It's been around for a long time in the black community. I like that this is a first person account of what it's like to be objectified, I've read several more theoretical pieces. |

| I'm a white female. haven't read the article, but when I saw Miley smack that woman's ass I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Maybe at least we can get a good dialog going here, especially because the popular brand of feminism seems to so often exclude women of color. It's f'ed up. |
