How late do you stay up on average?

I'm incapable of going to bed before midnight. Can't do it. And I usually need something to fall asleep. I'm up at 8.

As for what I'm doing-- reading the internet, watching TV, picking up the house.

Spending time with DH and reading. We have a very late dinner 9:30ish because he gets home late and will do a quick workout after kids go to bed at 8:45pm. We both get a second wind at dinner time and will sometimes watch our DVR'd HBO series, etc. I then head up to bed 11ish and will read until I fall asleep..book hitting the floor. Anywhere btwn 11:15-12:30am.

1am, like clockwork every night. I'm reading on my iPad, surfing the interwebz, watching a movie, cleaning the kitchen, etc. Sometimes, I do all those things at once!!

Last night I went to bed at 3am. I was wrecked this am and 25 minutes late to work.

I keep trying to go to sleep by 11:00 and it doesn't always happen. I'm up by 6:30, and really only "need" 7 hours of sleep but hate it when I get less.

Daughter goes to bed around 8:30; I need a couple of hours of downtime (and laundry-folding, or bill-filing) time after she goes down. I usually watch TV and read or do Kakuro puzzles.

1am, but, I SAH. If I had to be functional to do office work, I'd probably go to bed earlier.

Kids go to bed at 9 and I watch tv, read, fold laundry, do various family admin tasks, take long baths. DH does the same unless he has brought work home.

Get up at 6:30 to get my oldest to preschool. On weekends/holidays, we all sleep in until 8.

Asleep at 10 pm, awaken naturally w/o alarm at 6:45.

So I now get about 9 hours of sleep every night whereas I used to get 6 hours, as recently as last summer. HUGE difference in the way I feel.

I bring DC a sippy with warm milk and DC will stay in bed for 1 extra hour that gives me time to either get ready or sleep in a little more.

Holy cow. You get ELEVEN hours of sleep every night? Wow. Awesome, I guess.

Yup. The only problem is that even 20 hours of sleep wouldn't fix my exhaustion problem. I've been trying to find out what's wrong with me for 15 years

Between 10-11pm, usually on the earlier side, up by around 6. DD is 16 months and sleeps from around 7-6:30.

I'm with you OP. I get so mad at myself when I wake up in the AM and am tired as all hell. I usually go to bed anywhere from midnight-2AM. Should really get up at 6:15, but most days it's 6:45 or closer to 7.

What I'm doing? Nothing much at all! Mostly BS stuff: reading, surfing the web, watching TV, masturbating, etc. 8)

This is me too, but I'm in bed by midnight at the latest. Get about 6.5 hours, really need an hour more. Coffee is my savior.
