Where do the Republicans in the District live?

Aside from the obvious which is Capitol Hill where are the most conservative enclaves in NW? Palisades? Spring Valley? Berkeley? Wesley Heights?

As a Republican who lives on Capitol Hill I can assure you that most of our kind don't live on the Hill.

Most live in Virginia. Few hold outs in NW. Most likely Spring Valley but we are everywhere.

Yeah, not sure where you got the idea that the Hill is GOP land. Not hardly.

Far NW, maybe -- just this side of the Maryland border.

Why would you care?

We felt like the only Republicans when we lived on the Hill but have found a surprising number in Chevy Chase, DC.

Under or behind rocks?

Our area of NOVA is good mix of both. In general, though, this area is very liberal.

The only ward in which a Republican is currently running for Council is Ward 7. So, maybe they are all there.

I'd like to know. I saw a Romney sticker on a car this morning and Huntsman sticker on another and I know there must be more than just 3 or 4 of us living here.

The simple answer is that they don't. Republicans are less than 7% of the District. The ward with the most is ward 3, but even there it is less than 15%
