Israeli war crimes

Former Biden spokesperson Matthew Miller admits "without a doubt true that Israel has committed war crimes in Gaza”, but it just wasn’t his job to say so.

He was on record numerous times denying any wrongdoing by Israel while fully believing that what he was saying was categorically false.

Where are you seeing anti-semitism?

If you criticize Israel that's antisemitic

Nope. I am exclusively flagging the antisemitic posts. the posts about the actual events are not being flagged.

Being anti-Israel is antisemitic. The ADL says so. "Since the 1970s, the ADL has advanced the concept of new antisemitism, including a definition that says anti-Zionism and some criticisms of Israel are antisemitic."

Yes, saying Israel should be destroyed or has no right to exist is generally antisemitic.

Yet no one is saying that.

They say it here constantly.

OK, find the antisemitism in this statement (which has been posted and deleted twice):

“ Antisemitism itself is vile and unacceptable, but the Jewish community is either incapable or unwilling to link the rise of attacks to the actions of the Israeli government in Gaza. None of this is happening in a vacuum.”

Well my position is that Israelis should not kill or imprison Palestinians AND Palestinians should not kill Israelis or take them hostage.

Israeli as a country is certainly not listening and the vast majority support its actions.

In Gaza the vast majority of Palestinians are not Hamas militants, there have been no elections since 2006 because of the PLO and it is very likely many want the conflict to end (but no polling can be conducted due to the conflict), and children are getting shot in the head purposely.

Hmm. Something seems unbalanced here.

Because I am the one who has deleted it twice, let me explain. I fault you for directing your criticism at "the Jewish community". Your point that the Israeli government's actions in Gaza are provoking attacks on the Jewish community is valid and one with which I agree (though I stress that is not a justification for such attacks, rather it is just stating reality). However, there is no evidence that a failure to recognize this fact is limited to the Jewish community or that the Jewish community as a whole has failed to recognize the connection. To the contrary, your criticism applies to a great many non-Jews. Moreover, many members of the Jewish community have been among the most vocal supporters of the Palestinians and they clearly recognize that violence begets violence. The Jewish community should not be singled out in the way that you did.

Second, when your post is deleted once, that should be an indication to you that it is not acceptable. When it is deleted a second time, it should be abundantly clear that your post is unwanted. By the third time you have posted it, you have crossed the line into trolling. As such, you have earned a short break from DCUM. Please use your time away from our community wisely.

The Jewish community has explicitly linked these attacks to the actions of the Israeli government. And they’ve said — correctly — that making American Jews pay with their lives for the Israeli government’s actions is antisemitic.

I happened to be on DHHS website a few minutes ago looking up some HIPAA stuff. Then wandered to a page "celebrating the big wins of the trump administration" (ugh). List of items like the food dyes, autism, etc, and then Combatting Antisemitism

Here's what I don't understand (well, I do but just pretend I am simply a logical being who wandered onto this planet without knowing what the last 10 years have been like):

Govt and other entities are NOT allowed to protect minorities, women (except to protect them from trans people in the bathroom or on the volleyball team), people with disabilities, religious minorities, but absolutely required to protect Jews.

I hate to even word it like that because it makes me sound antisemitic myself (the Jewish people I personally know are very anti-bibi and appalled at the Gaza situation but also were horrifically traumatized by the Oct 7 attacks and one of them lost a close friend in the attacks; I also have a good friend whose family was forced out of Palestine in 1948 and has been struggling with depression over it all while trying to stay cheerful for her preschool daughter, it's all too much horror for a person to absorb).

https://mondoweiss.net/2025/06/palestine-letter-my-colleagues-in-gaza-call-being-a-journalist-a-death-job/

Being a journalist in Gaza is essentially accepting a death job where you and your family will be targeted for assassination.

Over 220 journalists have been killed with more than in both world wars, Vietnam, Yugoslavia and Afghanistan combined.

Furthermore, international journalists are not allowed to independently enter Gaza further contributing to the blackout of media.

Calling people to aid sites, and then shooting at them.

I have nothing but hatred in my heart for Israel. An utterly vile country, government, and military.

Murdered for carrying a handful of rice and lentils...

Palestinian man holding his son's hand on the way home was bombed by Israeli occupation forces in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City. In his pocket, they found a tiny handful of rice and lentils. They were killed simply for trying to bring home a little food. Part of Israel’s terroristic plan of systematic starvation of an entire population.

https://www.i24news.tv/en/news/international/americas/artc-canada-launches-war-crimes-probe-into-into-idf-veterans-with-dual-citizenship

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has launched a criminal investigation into dual citizen Israeli-Canadian soldiers suspected of war crimes in Gaza.

"The program's aim is to ensure Canada does not become a safe haven for war criminals,"

When Canada is concerned about war crimes, you KNOW it’s bad

For those of us under 80 years old, has there ever been a more vivid litmus test of others in our lifetime than whether or not they support Israel’s policies and actions?

Why are Jewish congregations in the DMV not denouncing this. Their silence is deafening.
