People don’t have time to care about Gaza when they can’t find a decent job. Enough has been said about Gaza. |
I guess I missed the hostage release and Hamas' surrender? Or do you mean Hamas still has the hostages and has not surrendered and Israel decided it had enough of Gazan intransigence? The latter, apparently, phrased in a cutesy name-calling way to avoid addressing those simple facts? Hostages still being held, Hamas still the aggressor. |
Invade Israel, kill thousands of innocents, take hostages, get obliterated until hostages are released. Seems like Hamas started something it cant finish. |
Why the US is spending billions on Israel to fight an intractable war while we are eliminating tens of thousands of jobs and basic food and health programs to save money is unconscionable. |
Hamas = Nazis. Let’s hope Hamas goes the way of the Nazis and disappears. |
Hamas does not lead a country. It does not have a military nor does it have tanks, soldiers, etc. Israel on the other hand has one of the strongest militaries in the world (thanks to the billions of dollars it receives every year from the US). This is not an even fight. This is a poor, oppressed people being dominated and decimated by a much stronger and more powerful occupying power (=Israel). If your land was stolen and your people oppressed/killed by the tens of thousands, you would fight back too. |
Yes indeed. Poor, oppressed, and also the aggressors. They brought a knife to a gunfight. Vicious savages, getting their just desserts. |
Ooo lookee here Someone's swastika underwear is showing |
Wishful thinking Netanyahu doesn’t want peace The point stand. Rise up and get rid of Netanyahu. The war ends. Or keep doing the same thing and suck up more and more military and financial aid from the US and expropriate more land |
Well, by your wishful thinking, once all of Gaza is occupied, the problem will end that way, which also works. It's the choice of the Palestinians and Hamas - keep on keeping on, don't release the hostages, don't surrender, and live under occupation and martial law which they brought upon themselves, or try behaving like civilized people for a change by renouncing terror, releasing the hostages, and consigning Hamas to history. |
You think they're anything other than as described? Their actions argue otherwise. Rape, murder, kidnapping, terror ad infinitum. No progress since 1948. Billions in aid squandered. The land they live on reduced to rubble. 50K dead, all the result of Oct 7. Still holding hostages, still thinking extortion may work where force of arms has never yet worked for them. It's difficult to see how they can be described in any more sympathetic terms. Maybe we can call them incurably stupid? Or maybe terminally self-destructive? "Poor and oppressed" doesn't seem to quite correspond to their terror agenda. |
If you think blowing up buses and restaurants and murdering more than a 1000 innocent farming families and kids at a music festival on a Saturday morning is meaningful resistance than I don't know what to tell you. The strategy pursued by Hamas and the progressives that support them may be the stupidest strategy ever devised. Hamas invaded Israel, committed appalling atrocities, and declared war. And war is what they got. Their choice. And it was a dumb choice. Hamas can end the war at any time by releasing the remaining living hostages and returning the bodies of those they murdered. Why older Palestinians in Gaza chose to elect Hamas is one of the great mysteries of our time. Palestinians should have chosen to have a state of their own in 1948. Or alternatively, they should have accepted the Oslo Accords. Instead they chose 70+ years of war and terror. And here we are, further away from a Palestinian state than ever. Idiots. |
+1000. Indisputable objective facts. |

Seems like the swastika cuteness is more appropriately attached to Hamas and those who support them, given that Hamas' "Covenant" and doctrine explicitly call for the destruction of Israel through jihad. Maybe you are confused about the definition of that objective, but nazi-like seems remarkably apt, and so is synonymous with Hamas and their Palestinian and Iranian supporters. So you'll need a different childish zinger with which to deflect focus from the point - that the Palestinians deserve what they are getting. Release the hostages, surrender. Or is that too much like what civilized, reasonable, and intelligent people would do? Or, instead just invite more bombs to fall on them until there's nothing left at all. Choices have consequences. The Palestinians keep making their choices and reaping the predictable and just consequences. |
