FWIW, people posted the same things last year about W&M and other schools, but kids did get calls after such posts. |

He was admitted in fall but few of his friends are on the WL and they are waiting.
No news. Dartmouth is done with class of 2027. I know 2 got of uva waitlist and one from Colgate |

On college confidential, kids reporting they are hearing the WL has closed. |

It really depends year to year. If you don't get off the waitlist, you get a letter saying the waitlist is closed or a letter asking if you want to stay on the waitlist sometime between middle to the end of may. And if you stay on the waitlist, then you may hear from the school again in another few weeks. And this can go on all summer until they fill all the spots. My D had a school ask her the last week of July if she was still interested. |
