Any nonessential federal employee caught working/performing official duties (i.e. sending an official work-related email, etc.) during a shutdown faces a penalty of up to $5000 in fine and a possible 2 weeks in jail sentence.

Just wondering, is this CDC closed on Fridays? They don't have hours of operation displayed for Fridays on their website. I just find it really hard to believe that a CDC is only operational 4 days a week. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Also, has anyone else found communication with this CDC to be extremely frustrating? No email replies and no followups of phone calls to the Center itself.
