Plus! They have dinosaur shaped ramps the kids to roll the ball down.
The bowling alley in Sterling is not only clean and smoke-free, it was super fun for 3-4 year old kids AND had a super-clean bathroom.
My preschooler's school is closed for a week later this month and I'm considering doing a couple or few days at JW Tumbles in Herndon. Does anyone have any experiences there to share? I'm particularly interested in safety and cleanliness.

TIA!

I'd join TakomaPakk just to ask
Thank you, 8:57. Wintergreen has been around for a long time and I've consistently heard good things.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm so glad to hear good word of mouth.
Does anyone have recent experience with the Wintergreen CDC through the Rockville Daycare Association? We toured it yesterday for my 29 month old son.

Specifically, what do you like or dislike about it? Our son receives services from MCITP and two of his therapists (their offices are in the same building) recommended it.

Thanks in advance.
Ugh, don't know why all those ? are in the title. I'm not the riddler.
Good morning,

I am a new mom of a 7 month old. Our family lives in the Holiday Park neighborhood of Silver Spring. I was wondering if anyone knew of any Yahoo or Google Group (or similar) or in person groups for parents or moms or communities in the Kensington, White Flint, Silver Spring, Rockville, Wheaton or Bethesda areas? I already belong to the Moms Club, TakomaPAKK, and CafeMontgomery. I also take parenting classes at a Waldorf School (yes, really am a hippie inside).

I'm looking to connect with other local parents and make some Mom friends. I work and am off on Thursdays.

Thank you.
I love the uppababy vista. Also Baby Bargains is a great resource!
My husband, 5-month old son, and I are taking the Auto Train to Florida. We did buy a bedroom both ways.

Does anyone have any tips for traveling with an infant on the train? I'm planning to wear him in my soft structured carrier, and bring a bassinet for night time sleeping.

Also, I exclusively pump so that my son gets an all-breastmilk diet. The room has outlets so I can plug in the machine. I'm bringing a cooler with ice packs to keep milk chilled.

All ideas/experiences/suggestions welcome.

Thank you!
I worked from home one day a week before I got pregnant, now I'm doing 1-2, depending on the week.

It's important to emphasize that while you work from home, you are just as available and can be reached via phone and email. At my office everyone uses IM and that's easy too.
Thank you all for the information and referrals!
I'm looking for a referral to a hypnobirthing instructor in the area. I am due in August. Anyone you've heard is wonderful (or who isn't) would be helpful.

Thanks!
