Thank you thus far on all of the information. However, for the last two people who replied, I am simply comparing schools at the moment. I am sold on Landon, but my wife is sold on the Potomac School. I needed some more opinions and thoughts about Landon because all of this bad media which Landon is receiving, I want to make sure it is a school which my son is going to enjoy for the next four years of his life.

My son has been recently accepted into the Landon School and other schools but I seem to be sold on Landon. How is its reputation around the area in terms of academics, athletics, the boys themselves, and their reputation in the community? How does it compare to schools such as Sidwell, Potomac, Georgetown Prepatory? Thanks.
