My Partner and I live in Alexandria. We have 3yo twins. We would love to meet other g/l families!

Hello All! Dad of twins here! My twins are 2 years and 10 months I would like to start a play group in the Alexandria area, if anyone is interested please reply.

My partner and I really want to use emotion coaching as our parenting style. Our issue with it is, Gottman does not give specifics for different age groups. For example our twins are 2 years and 7 months. What is a good way to "emotion coach" a crying child (twins mind you! that means that it is probably two crying kids!) I have difficulty in finding an effective way to get them to bring out their emotions then find a way to problem solve. I am hoping to hear from anyone who has read Gottman and understands how to effectivly implement emotion coaching for a two year old. It seems like I just am completely ineffective.
Please help!

I am in the process of looking for a new Nanny for my twins, and I never heard of a nanny share before. I would like to know more about it! Ideally we need a live in Mon-friday. We also, need our kids to be driven to their preschool in Potomoc. We live in Alexandria close to Annendale.
