Gay & Lesbian Baby Playgroup

| We're looking for other gay parents with young children in DC or PG county that might want to form a casual playgroup. I work PT, and could do weekdays, but weekends would work too. We really haven't run into other gay parents with babies under 1 for some reason. Most of the couples have pre-school kids. I'm just trying to get a gauge as to how many gay or lesbian families there are on this board with really young children so we can try to set something up by summer. |

| Lesbian Mom here. I have three but I am in MC. I am willing to travel a little ways for a playgroup. Weekends would better for me. My youngest is 2, I hope that's not too old. But I will follow this thread and make sure to keep up on it. I am very excited. I hope there are other gay parents in the area that might be interested. Great idea OP! |

| I am a Lesbian mommy in MC too--Rockville, have a 1 year old, & work PT... interested in a playgroup (although we were in Whitman Walker's pregnancy support group, we never joined their GLBT playgroup)... |

| You can find lots of families with children under age 1 for playdates through Rainbow Families DC. Go to www.rainbowfamiliesdc.org to join via Big Tent. There is also a great parenting conference on April 26. |

We're a PG County family of 1 baby boy, and would be interested in a play group. Rainbow Families DC costs $ now, so would prefer to simply organize in other forums.

| We live in Anne Arundel County (near PG/Howard County border) and have twin boys who will be 2 next month. We are always looking for playgroups (although both of us work - so it would have to be on the weekend - unless our nanny could bring them!) |
