According to the OP, the child is over-indulged and exhibits 'diva-like' behavior. Isn't that enough to give you a clue about what kind of folks her parents are? I would not want my child to associate with children or folks like that EVER.

Our son has been with an in-home provider since October and we really like her. We'd like to give her a holiday present. What and how much is generally recommended - cash or gifts (gift cards etc.)?
