Hello,

I hear major redistricting will occur in Fairfax County. I am concerned because we will be relocating next year and are hoping to buy a home that feeds into McLean, Oakton or Madison high schools.

I understand there are certain areas that have been traditionally spared from being redistricted, such as the Chesterbrook District (feeds into McLean HS) and certain parts of Vienna (into Oakton or Madison).

Can anyone speak to this? Should we rent first? Has the County set anything in stone?
