It does seem that Fair has a problem with the first amendment:

They are reprehensible, but that doesn't matter. I don't care what he belives. As long as he's not hurting anyone or insulting people at the gym, why should his membership be revoked?

Well ok, but how do you define "hatred?" Does opposing same-sex marriage make one a hater?(Buchanan and Ken Cuccinelli fall into this camp) Or is i just racist comments that would make someone a hater?

I'm biracial. He thinks people like me are unnatural. I feel pretty confident that this qualifies as him hating me and people like me.

But why should holding this view get his gym membership revoked?

The gym certainly has the right to do it. I just don't understand why they did it. Before long, Right-wingers will have to establish private gyms exclusively for Right-wingers.

OP, right-wingers are welcome at any gym. Richard Spencer is not "a right-winger".

I think the gym could have taken a courageous stand and kept him on. However, their business model is increasing the number of satisfied gym-goers, not reducing it. So they kicked out the problematic gym-goer.

Right. I agree it's the right move from a business prospective. Where do you draw the line though? Let's say Pat Buchanan worked out at a gym, and was confronted by someone. Do you think he should be booted out? How do you decide who's welcome and who's not?

Someone that calls for ethnic cleansing. Out.

It's not difficult. Really.

When Spencer says "ethnic cleansing", he's not talking about killing minorities. He's talking about moving them to an area away from whites.(he's a "white separatist") I totally disagree with him on this, but just trying to clarify his position.

You really don't understand why? Because they don't want to be associated with Nazis. If the KKK grand master or whatever he's called worked out there, they'd probably want to ban him too. Not sure why you think that all "right wingers" would end up being banned -- I lean conservative but am neither a Nazi nor a racist.

Well if our hypothetical KKK grandmaster isn't hurting anyone or insulting people, who cares? The gym isn't endorsing his views by allowing him to work out there.

Now to be clear, I'm no fan of Spencer. He's a pro-choice Atheist and a low-brow racist. That being said, I don't understand why his gym membership was revoked. What did he do to get it revoked? I know you guys probably think he's a piece of trash, but why should one's political/social views get one's membership at a gym revoked? He even tried to avoid the situation by telling this Georgetown professor that he was not Richard Spencer. If anything, I think it's the professor who should have her membership revoked. Just ridiculous.

I believe from them you'll learn the art of debate and discussion. Challenge conventional wisdom. Question authority and don't accept something just because it is spoon fed to you.

Have you read any John Locke or Charles Taylor (this one https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Taylor_(philosopher))?

I've read a bit of Locke( not a huge fan) I've heard of Taylor but haven't read him yet

I have 3 children. One is 22. He has a double major in english lit and political theory. I enjoy having conversations with him about politics.

Are you really 16? I appreciate your curiosity and respect your views, but you still have a great deal of education to complete and cannot possibly understand or appreciate and adult forum at your age. You neitner have the life experience nor the education. I do admire your thirst for intelligent conversation.

Can you tell me a little about what has shaped your views and opinions, they are very strong for someone your age. And you have to admit, on other forums you do call yourself a fascist. Is this true?

sorry for the typos, I'm very tired

Not 16 anymore. 18 now. My views have been shaped by reading. I used to be a NeoCon who listened to Limbaugh, Levin, and Hanity daily. I realized that these people were BSers, and started reading thinkers like Burke, Kirk, Maistre, and Weaver. I'm a Classical Conservative. That's all. Thanks for not being an Ahole like most of these guys.

Still in high school or now in college? What do you plan on majoring in? You wwould probably really enjoy political theory or philosophy.

I'm finishing my senior year. Few weeks left. I'm headed to St. John's College in Annapolis this fall. Excellent Great Books program

Just took a look at their program. My son has read most of those books as an english lit/political theory major. You'll enjoy and learn so much. Fascinating program. What do you plan on doing with the degree they offer? Or do you plan on going for a masters in something?

Are you worried this program will lean a little to too far to the left for you?

I don't think the program really leans left, but most of the students are Liberal. That being said, I did meet several conservative Christian students there( including an Eastern Orthodox Monarchist!) It seems to be a place where there's a true love of learning and freedom of thought. After St. John's, I plan on getting a MA or PhD in Classics or European History, and becoming a professor or teaching at prep school. I've also considered becoming a priest (Anglican) or a political blogger like Vox Day/Moldbug.

That thing is all lies and hypocrisy. Just to give you an update, the administration at SJC didn't take it all that seriously.

People figured out who you are. Just google "paleoconprep" and your uber nationalist/ racists posts are all over the place. Go to bed, get ready for high school tomorrow, and get your sh!t together because the real world where adults live, work and play is a lot harder than sitting in your parents house sitting in front of their computer for hours. Go make some friends, get some exercise, get a life!

You make a lot of assumption there friend. First, I don't sit in front of the computer for hours. I usually post here when I'm interested in sharing my opinion on a topic. You also assume that you can know who I am though internet comments. 99% of what I said on that IronMarch post was stuff I made up to try and sound like them. I only made one post on that site, and it was well over a year ago. I'm quite different in real life. Not really a confrontational guy at all. BTW, I have plenty of friends.
