What are some good vacation destinations for traveling with a 6-12mo old? Looking for somewhere that has direct flight options from DCA. We're flexible on timing, but likely spring or fall of this year, and open to any mild to tropical climates (not really into cold places unless it is AMAZING).

👋 Any recommendations for dog walkers in the SW waterfront/wharf area?

I’m expecting, due at the end of August. Looking for someone who would be available to be “on call” to walk our pup, Ada, around the due date, and potentially pick up a couple of walks here and there after the birth. Ideally I would love to meet them / do an intro to Ada before then!

We have a plan for getting her to boarding for the days we are in the hospital, but would like a back up in case the person who needs to pick her up is delayed (they live ~1 hour away).

Also - how much should we pay a dog walker per walk?

Hi! Any recommendations for childcare in Wharf, Navy Yard, or Mount Vernon (near convention center)?

Expecting our first in late August and trying to get a sense of all of our options and what cost looks like. We're open to daycare centers and in-home daycares. Separately, we are exploring nanny share options.

Looking for full-time care, M-F. Starting in mid-December or early January.
