I would wait until they contact you and let people know only if they ask you. You'll be surprised at how few people they actually contact. They get it.
At u9 and u10, playing time "should" be equal but the truth is, it's not at most clubs. That being said, max roster for 7v7 in most leagues is 12 although many teams cap at 10-11. For 9v9, max is around 14. Therfore you have a chance at more playing time.
Average cost for that age should be around 2700-3000. $3500 is the absolute highest end. Your child will develop much slower with such little game time and the club will likely continue to over max rosters in future years. For the price and number of kids, I would change clubs asap.
It's nearing summer so mostly only camps going on. If you're near Rockville, Bethesda Soccer Club has great camps for all levels.

High school coaches are allowing it becasue they want the best teams possible, and there's no rule, from the high school side, against it.
If an MLS Next program is letting their kids play at public high schools, that's somethng to bring up with the program.
And as for why, clearly kids want to both play on the highest level club team they can, and play high school as well.

Clearly I said . Kind of creepy you are looking what've posted before but ok.

Last year, HS coaches took a few a MLS Next players for our JV and V teams, however, once season started a few had to drop out HS because their Club found out. Yet, here we are again. HS Coaches don't care but I'm surprise they didn't take note from last year. They could have given those spots to players who want and are wiling/able to be committed to play High School soccer.

Not creepy at all. I also remember you posting this last year. Some coaches allow superstars to miss practices and still play the entire game. Some coaches allow superstars to act worse than they should. No its not fair. Such is life. Get over it.

Not too late. Check out Takoma park. They generally have a variety of competitive teams at multiple levels. I don't know if they have u8 but possibly he can play up to u9 for a team if not. Email the coach listed here:

Disregard.. found it.
I feel like I saw it a couple weeks ago but I can't locate it on their site anymore or via Google.

TIA!
Thanks. I found the tournament with the above links.
I would reach out to the other club and begin Id sessions for next year. If you can tolerate cyan all year, stick with cyan. If cyan is unbearable, move during winter. None of what you said is acceptable and purple should have honered him a spot at the tournament. Very sleezy behavior.
Is there a site to get a list of most local tournaments? I know a few teams who did a tournament last weekend but it wasn't the August cup or any one that I could fine. I found a website with a few listed but it wasn't helpful.

Thank you.

The prediction feature is cool! Going to see how accurate it is when the season starts.

PPA is a great option. The 2 times a week will give you time to play your other sports. My ds is a u little and has played both clubs this year. PPA puts up a much better fight than Potomac in regards to competition. They seem well coached (referring to the top teams) At the older ages, their teams seem to do very well and compete in top brackets. Potomac has alot of teams and players but don't seem to play well compared with other clubs.
There's no such thing as "tryouts are over". Most clubs doing rolling tryouts and will add a player to a roster all summer. Some clubs hold a spot for this. Email all of your local clubs and ask. The bigger clubs definitely have second and third teams at that age for middle level players.
