Has anyone had a scheduled c-section at Georgetown who could offer their experiences?
I'm due in a few weeks and it would be great to hear from women who have been through similar.
I'm new to the US and am finding things a little disconcerting - After seeing several OBGyNs there (most of whom I liked), I was advised to schedule follow-up appointments with the physician I would like to do the section. The lack of available appointments, however, has made this impossible (not the end of the world for me - but there are a couple I would like to avoid). I also haven't been offered a look around the ward (I'm guessing this is down to COVID - but a virtual tour would be nice at least).
I think some of it might be nerves as the date approaches but things are also starting to feel a bit disorganized at Georgetown when I go for appointments and I'd like to avoid any excess stress! Has anyone delivered there recently and could offer some advice?
Hi everyone

Last month, we purchased a travel system from Buy Buy Baby in Rockville. They were supposed to ship it out within a week, didn't happen. Long story short - We are a couple of weeks away from delivery, still without a stroller + car seat, and the bassinet attachment for the stroller we wanted (which was not stocked at Buy Buy Baby) is now out of stock everywhere, leaving us back at square one.

Does anyone have any recommendations for stores with a decent selection of strollers/travel systems that are within 30-40 minutes of downtown DC that we could try? I would rather eat my own arm than experience buy buy baby again (their sales assistants also had very limited product knowledge) and chasing them up has been a nightmare, so would like to avoid them at all costs... but happy to try anywhere else.
As an aside, the Uppa baby everyone has here in DC is a bit bulky for our needs so we're inclining towards the European brands (Cybex, inglesina, etc.).
