I understand that the quality of ACE BTW instructors can vary widely. The instructor for Madison HS is listed as Parker. For those of you whose child has used BTW at Madison, what are your thoughts on this or any other instructor who taught there?

Fairfax County has been offering FCPS Virtual Mental Health Services to high schoolers for free. I'm debating whether to have my daughter see a therapist through this program, but have doubts about the quality of the therapists since the service is free. Can anyone please share what they know of this program?

My daughter is considering signing up for New York School of Arts summer camps in Vienna. Curriculum seems to be enriching. Since she has not taken classes there, we are not sure about the execution. We would appreciate any thoughts on your family's experience there.

My daughter is in 7th grade at a Catholic school. She would like to go to Kilmer for 8th grade because of its wider range of electives. I think such a switch might be a good idea given that it will give her a year to adjust to FCPS before going to Madison. I'm concerned about the unflattering things I have heard about Kilmer. I'm wondering whether the new principal has made improvements. Any thoughts about the current state of the school would be welcome.
