Yeah, they wont cover it unless they get pre-authorization and that SFG should send in a request.
I'm thinking about it, but we already have the samples going into IGenomix which we're financially responsible for about $1600. We've spent a lot of time and money at SGF so I wanted to see other people's experiences and if its worked out for them.
My insurance will cover PGD and PGS, I just need pre-authorization to do the analysis. Shady Grove is saying Igenomix is responsible for that and Igenomix is saying Shady Grove is responsible for that. So far, SGF has been wrong about everything they've said about Igenomix so i don't trust them. Did anyone have the same issue and how was it resolved? If i dont have pre-authorization, my insurance will deny reimbursing me and we'll have pay $5k for the test, which we cant afford. TIA!
