This book is known for saying it's safe to drink alcohol in moderation during pregnancy, though for what it's worth I actually read it and decided not to drink at all because I have such a low tolerance for alcohol in general.

What to Expect When You're Expecting - I know, not a particularly original recommendation, but I've found it to be extremely comprehensive and very handy to have around.

OP here - I have not heard of Expecting Better! Sounds like just what I'm looking for! Thanks for the recommendation!

Ha - OP, we're a lesbian couple and are doing IUI.
No ramp-up materials needed.
Hello.

I just had my first natural cycle IUI yesterday (we are a very lucky lesbian couple and all my numbers look good). For those of you who had successful IUIs, when did you start feeling something, anything? I am surprised to find that something feels weird in there. To be more precise, I feel kind of gassy and full with a slight side of nausea. My wife always teases that I am extremely in tune with my body but I sort of feel like maybe my mind is just playing tricks on me - I was not expecting this!
Am I just imagining that I feel something?

Also, regardless of if this is actually something - did any of you do things differently between the IUI and pregnancy test 2 weeks later? We were going to do a big house clean this weekend but my wife is scared that I shouldn't really exert myself/expose myself to cleaning supplies.

Let the paranoia begin

Thank you all!
